Agricultural Librarians Association of the Philippines (ALAP)

The group consists of librarians, information specialists, and other specialists working in agricultural institutions. It was founded on June 11,1972 with postal address at the University Library, UP Los Banos, College, Laguna.

ALAP @ 35: Empowering Information Professionals for Library 2.0 May 3, 2007

In celebration of the 35th Anniversary of the Agricultural Librarians Association of the Philippines (ALAP), a one day forum will be conducted on June 8, 2007 (Friday) at the College of Engineering and Agro-Industrial Technology (CEAT) Library, UP Los BaƱos, Laguna.

The theme of the forum is “ALAP @ 35: Empowering Information Professionals for Library 2.0“. The forum aims to update librarians and information managers on the new path of the profession and current applications of information communication technologies (ICTs) on library services. In addition, this occasion will also serve as a reunion of all ALAP members in the country, see program for details. Forum fee is P100 for members and P150 for non-members (to cover snacks, lunch, handouts and certificate).
