ALAP is the Agricultural Librarians Association of the Philippines. The group consists of librarians, information specialists, and other specialists working in agricultural institutions. It was founded on June 11,1972 with postal address at the University Library, UP Los Banos, College, Laguna.
ALAP Aims to re-emphasize the importance of I.T. (Information Technology) and the urgency of its utilization for improving the quality of information dissemination; create an awareness of trends in the field of I.T. and how this affects the quality of information service; enable participants to learn from experiences of colleagues for advance libraries in the country.
